One of the saddest thing happened to me today. I was at the centre of the city shopping some utensils and looking for some comics and, like, the WEIRDEST thing happened. Maybe this is not a big deal for a lot of people. But well, it is a big deal to me so I'm talking about it anyway.
You know when you grow up with someone since your were, I don't know, TEN FUCKING YEARS OLD? You know when you grow up with this someone who you used to call "best friend"?
We always have best friends at school and I happened to have this girl as best friend when I was a kid. We had a great relationship. We would call each other and talk for like HOURS. Like, you call her and then when you see it's been a really long call the both of you decide to hang up so the other one will call you to continue the conversation and like that your parents won't be so mad at you with the telephone bill? Yeah. I had this.
Our families knew each other, we would hang out at each other house's all the time. ALL THE FUCKING TIME. We would wait for the other one to go home together after school. And well, I could make a list all day about our kind of friendship, but this journal have to be quick because I want to go watch Better.with.You.
So after we went different ways through high school and I went to college and she went job hunting, we kind of stopped hanging out. Kind of even stopped talking at all. We would sometimes cross path at the street, stop and talk about what we had passed through together, reminiscing, you know, and stuff? That kind of thing.
Anyway, today I was going back home after some shopping and I happened to see that THIS FRIEND was coming the other way on the same sidewalk. It's been some time we didn't talk and last time we saw each other, it was at the same street and I made some freaking scandal yelling "OMG IT'S YOOOOOOOOU *HUGS*" and it was so nice.
Period.
Anyway, you know when you look at someone and you know this someone looked at you back and recognized you? Yes, she loooked at me. And what did she do next? SHE WENT TO THE OTHER WAY OF THE STREET. THE OTHER SIDEWALK, YOU KNOW?. I FELT LIKE "WHAT?". REALLY, I FELT LIKE "DID SHE JUST DO THAT ON MY FACE?". After that I didn't know what to do exactly and how to act so I decided to play her "I don't know you" game. I went along straight my way home. And I'm just DEVASTATED since then.
DEVASTATED.
